How to report non-emergency crime
Call 999 if you or someone else is in immediate danger, or if the crime is happening right now.

- If the crime happened in Surrey or Sussex you can report it using our new online service
- All reports are reviewed by the police and, if necessary, we'll respond by email or phone within 24 hours
- You will need to provide an email address or phone number.
CrimeStoppers are an independent charity helping to find criminals and help solve crimes. They run an anonymous 0800 555 111 phone number that you can call to pass on information about crime. Alternatively people can pass them information anonymously via their website.
Contact Ebay/PayPal directly if you feel you have been a victim of fraud as a consequence of purchasing via their services. Contact your bank or credit card provider directly if you expect fraud has been committed using your account. For all other matters, contact the UK's national fraud reporting centre, 'Action Fraud'
Report hate crime
Hate crimes and incidents come in many different forms. It can be because of hatred on the grounds of your race, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or disability. Hate crime in any form is wrong. That is why it is important that if hate crime happens to you or someone you know, that you report it.
