Fallen tree/debris in the road?

Surrey County Council are responsible for clearing trees and debris in the road - you can report an issue on their website here.

Because the local highways authority deals with these issues, the police only need to be involved if there is a significant risk to others OR there has been a collision AND someone is injured - in this case call 999.

Obstruction on a motorway or A-road?

You can contact  Highways England directly if the obstruction is on a motorway or A-road managed by them in England on 0300 123 5000.

Collided with a tree/debris in the road?

If you have collided with a tree or debris in the road, but there are no injuries to anyone, you don't need to report this incident to Surrey Police.

Surrey Police only need to be involved if there is a significant risk to others, OR there has been an injury as a result of the collision - in this case call 999.
