Appeal for information after woman touched inappropriately in Woking Park

Surrey Police is investigating a report of a woman being touched inappropriately in Woking Park on Sunday afternoon (11 June).

The woman was in the park in White Rose Lane around 2.30pm when she was approached by a man. She was sitting on a bench at the time and the man engaged her in conversation before touching her inappropriately.

The man is described as white, in his early 40s, 6ft tall, of a slim or muscular build, with grey or brown cropped hair and facial stubble. He spoke with a French accent and had three tattoos on his forearm. He was wearing a white tee-shirt and carrying an orange canvas bag, and was riding a white mountain bike.

Officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have been approached by the same man, or with any other information which could assist their enquiries.
