Appeal for witnesses in connection with targeted burglaries in Walton and Tadworth
Surrey Police is appealing for information after a spate of targeted burglaries took place earlier this week.
Three properties were targeted on Wednesday, 9 August and a large amount of high value jewellery was stolen.
A house on Felcott Road in Walton-on-Thames was broken into around 1.30pm where the offenders were described to have made off in a dark coloured car.
Later two properties on Brighton Road in Tadworth were targeted between 3-3.30pm, four armed offenders threatened the occupants and left the properties with gold jewellery and other goods.
Detective Inspector Peter Harvey said: “These burglaries are believed to be targeted and we are doing all that we can to identify the offenders.
"Please see the advice on our website to keep your home safe and secure.
“I also advise the public to keep jewellery and other valuables in a bank safety deposit box and register their belongings on Immobilise.com, it helps police identify the owners of recovered property.”
Detectives are fully investigating the incidents and are asking anyone with information to get in touch quoting 45170087075.
