Surrey Police is appealing for the public’s help in identifying the man in the e-fit following a report of sexual assault near Addlestone Cemetery.

The incident occurred on the footpath between Green Lane in Addlestone and Eastworth Road, Chertsey on Monday, 6 February 2017 between 3-3.35pm. It is reported that the victim, a teenage girl, was walking along the path and was pulled into a wooded area by the suspect where the incident then took place.

The man has been described as White/European, of large build, aged in his 20’s with dark/brown eyes. He had facial stubble and wore a black tracksuit with a hood and a black beanie hat.

Detective Simon Young said: “We take all reports of sexual assault extremely seriously and I would like to reassure the public that we are carrying out a number of enquires, including conducting house to house calls and viewing CCTV footage in the area. We understand that reports of this nature can be upsetting for the local community and have a huge effect on the victim, we are working closely with the victim to fully investigate the incident.”
