CCTV released following burglary in Warlingham - do you recognise the man?

Surrey Police is appealing for the public’s help in identifying the man in this CCTV image.

Officers would like to speak to the man in connection with a burglary at a property in Westhall Road in Warlingham on Wednesday 8 February.

An intruder gained access to the property between 11am and 3pm by forcing through a door to the front of the house. Once inside the property, a jewellery box, containing several items of valuable jewellery, was taken.

PC Michael Gavin, who is investigating the incident, said: “The items of jewellery which were stolen are of great sentimental value and belonged to the owner’s late wife.

“I am urging anybody who witnessed anything suspicious around the time of the break-in to get in touch with us as soon as possible. I am also keen to identify the man in the CCTV image as I believe he may have information which could assist the investigation.”
