Surrey Police is appealing for the public’s help in identifying the man in this CCTV image.

Officers are keen to speak to him in connection with the theft of a handbag in Tadworth on Sunday 15 January 2017 and subsequent fraud offences.

At around midday on Sunday 15 January 2017 a 73-year-old woman had her handbag stolen from her car, a grey Vauxhall Meriva, which was parked in a car park next to the Pavilion recreational ground off Tattenham Way.

A number of transactions were later made using her bank cards.

PC Todd Mcphail from Reigate and Banstead Area Patrol Team, said: “If this is you in the CCTV or you recognise the man in this image please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

“I believe this man may have information which could assist our ongoing investigation.”
