Surrey Police has released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a sexual assault that took place in Epsom.

The 12-year-old victim was walking home from school along Chessington Road when she was approached by the suspect on December 5 between 3.40pm and 4pm. He made comments about her makeup and shirt and then touched her inappropriately.

He is described as having an Asian skin tone, aged 15-16 years old with black straight hair which was longer on the top than the sides. He was between 5’6” and 5’8” tall and of a slim build, with stubble above his mouth and chin. He was wearing a navy blazer with a yellow trim, white shirt, black tie, black trousers and black shoes. He had a local accent with an Indian twang.

Detective Sergeant Stephen Muncaster said: “We have released this E-fit in the hope someone may recognise the person pictured and come forward with the information we need to bring whoever was responsible for this offence to justice.

“The victim was understandably left very shaken by the incident and I am urging people to look closely at the picture and give me a call if they believe they have information which could help our investigation.”
