Help us investigate a Hinchley Wood burglary
Do you recognise this man or this car? The man and the owner of the car may be able to assist us with an investigation into a burglary which took place in Hinchley Wood on 18 July.
High-value jewellery was stolen from a house near Claygate Lane at approximately 1.20pm.
A car known to have been in the area at the time is also of interest for our investigation. At 1.30pm, a silver Saab 93 (pictured here) with the number plate LD54 NTX, was spotted driving away from the area where the break-in occurred.
It’s believed to have been driven into the Berkshire area, taking the A329 towards Wokingham, then later seen on the A4 Newbath Road in Charvil. Our investigation has also revealed that this car could have ties to Bedfordshire, specifically the Luton area.
Elmbridge Neighbourhood Inspector Dallas McDermott said: “The victims in this case have had some valuable possessions stolen from them by opportunistic criminals. We need your help to find those responsible so we can bring them to justice but also hopefully reunite the stolen items with the rightful owners. Please contact us if you recognise the man or car in these photos.”
