Motorists advised to avoid M3 after two traffic collisions

Motorists are advised to avoid the M3 between J1-2 following two road traffic collisions.

A four vehicle collision took place at around 7.30am at Sunbury/Chertsey slip but there were no injuries. Shortly after a motorcyclist was in collision with one of the cars involved in the first incident. He was taken by helicopter to St. George's Hospital in Tooting with head injuries.

If you are driving southbound you will not be able to join the M25 at J12.
