Officers appeal for information after fatal collision on A25 at Abinger Hammer
We are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Abinger Hammer last night (5 February).
Emergency services were called to the A25 near to the junction with Raikes Lane around 8.20pm following reports of a collision between two cars, a Peugeot 206 and a Skoda Octavia.
Sadly, an 18-year-old woman, a passenger in the Peugeot, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
The drivers of both the cars, a man in his teens driving the Peugeot and a woman in her 50s driving the Skoda, have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours while emergency services were at the scene but has since been opened.
Officers need to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, saw either of the cars driving before the incident, or has any dashcam footage. Anyone with information should call Surrey Police on 101 quoting PR/P18029422.
