Officers searching a vehicle find 1kg of suspected Class A drugs

On Monday (20 November), a Honda CRV car was stopped by officers at Guildford Spectrum, Parkway.

Officers carried out a search of the vehicle, and subsequently found it to contain just over 1kg of what is believed to be Class A drugs inside. Officers arrested two men.

Paul Dash, a 40-year-old from Woodlands Walk, Aldershot was charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. Dash pleaded guilty at Staines Magistrates Court yesterday morning (22 November) and has been released on conditional bail until sentencing at Guildford Crown Court on Friday 22 December 2017.

A 25-year-old man from Aldershot was released under investigation.
