UPDATE: Six people arrested following disorder in Sheerwater
Six people have been arrested in connection after a number of people were injured at a house party in Sheerwater on Saturday night (3 November).
Six people were taken to hospital with laceration injuries after we received multiple calls shortly after 9.30pm reporting a house party had spilled onto the street and escalated into disorder in Dartmouth Avenue.
They were treated for their injuries and have now been discharged from hospital. Officers dispersed the party and Dartmouth Avenue was closed for a time to allow the emergency services to do their work.
The six people who were arrested include an 18-year-old male from Woking, three 16-year-old females from Epsom, a 16-year-old male from Epsom and a 16-year-old male from Addlestone. They have all been released under investigation and enquiries remain ongoing.
We are keen to speak to everyone who was present at the party - particularly if they have photos or videos. We are also keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident or any other information which could help us with our enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Ian Paley, who is investigating the incident, said: "Although we have made a number of arrests, we are still keen to speak to everyone who was at the party so that we can establish exactly what has happened. I'd ask parents to talk with their teenage children if they may have been at this party, and encourage them to come forward and help our investigation. Thankfully the injuries in this case are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, but we are determined to ensure those responsible are brought to justice."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference PR/45180117754.
