Who threw something at a man's head in Whyteleafe?

Image of Godstone Road, WhyteleafeA man suffered a head injury after being targeted in an unprovoked attack in Whyteleafe on Monday 6 February.

The man was walking along Godstone Road around 7.20pm when an unknown object was thrown at his head, causing it to bleed. The victim did not see where the object came from, what it was or who threw it.

The man was treated by paramedics for a deep cut to his head.

An investigation is underway and officers have already carried out a number of enquiries but are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any other information.
