Witness appeal after man assaulted in Woking on Friday night

We are appealing for witnesses after an assault took place on Locke Way, Woking at around 11.52 pm on Friday, 11 May.

A group were seen near a grey Volkswagen Golf car shortly before the assault occurred. One man received an injury to his head which required hospital treatment. During the assault the car was also damaged.

Police attended and three men, aged 18, 19 and 20, and all from Woking, were arrested. The investigation is still ongoing.

If you were near or on Locke Way around midnight Friday night and you saw or heard something, please get in contact. Also, if you were nearby in your car and you have a Dashcam fitted, you may have caught something and we would very much like to talk to you. You may have already spoken to officers on the scene or captured something on your mobile phone. If so we urge you to get in contact even if you’ve already spoken to us.
