Witnesses sought following dispute between drivers in Chilworth

Surrey Police is appealing for the public’s help following an incident involving two drivers in Sampleoak Lane in Chilworth last month.

The incident involved a dispute between two drivers, one man driving a BMW and the other driving a silver Vauxhall, that resulted in one man receiving a wound to his hand. The incident took place on 4 August around 3pm near the level crossing.

The driver of the BMW, attended hospital for treatment for his injury.

The silver Vauxhall drove off in the direction of the Percy Arms pub before turning left on to the Dorking road towards Shalford.

The driver is described as Asian, aged in his 20s, 6ft tall, slim build with short dark hair.

Another driver did stop but police do not have his details and would ask him to make contact with us. Any other witnesses to the incident are asked to get in touch.
